AL Beats NL in All Star Game WNBA Liberty Beats Sun Milford 12u State Champ

In MLB Tuesday, the American League beat the National League 5-3 in the All Star Game in Texas. Jarren Duran, Boston Red Sox, hit a 2 run Home Run to break a 3-3 tie. Duran was named the MVP of the Game. The AL has won 10 of the last 11 All Star Games.

Milford defeated Madison 3-1 to win their 6th straight State Championship. Milford advances to the Regional Tournament in Bristol.

For Milford: Marina Cosmas was the winning pitcher, allowing 1 run on 3 hits and had 6 strikeouts; Dylan Gaglione had a single and scored a run, Sophia Capalbo had a single and scored 2 runs and Brynn Ayres had the game winning RBI!

For Madison: Claire MacKay scored a run and Chase Ferraiolo had the lone RBI
