Meet Troop!
This delightful boy has so much love to give. He is a 7-year-old pit bull terrier. After arriving earlier this month from Animal Control, Troop quickly melted the hearts of all of the staff here at CHS. With his bubbly personality and adorable three-legged walk, this cutie will be the most wonderful addition to your home. A single-family home or condo with minimal stairs is preferred. Troop will do well in a home where he can get plenty of exercise every day! He loves to run and play and will benefit from having a huge backyard.
Troop would love to share his home with another dog, and while he has not had much experience with cats, he may be willing to share his home with a dog-savvy feline. A family with general dog experience will be the best fit for Troop. Children over the age of eight who are gentle and respectful of pets will do well with Troop as their companion.
Having only one eye and 3 1/2 legs doesn't stop Troop from living his best life! As evident from his physical appearance Troop has been through some stuff. We've learned that he earned his name as a "Trooper" and he takes all things in stride. Troop is a lovely boy that enjoys exploring, playing and resting under your desk, using feet as his pillow. His squishy personality has won over all of the staff here and we can't wait to find Troop a loving home to rest his big ole' noggin in forever.
