On April 8th, 2024, a solar eclipse will take place in North America, and you will be able to see it from right here in Connecticut!
While Connecticut is not in the path to see the total solar eclipse, we still will be able to see a partial eclipse across the state!
Also, throughout the state, places will be hosting viewing parties for the eclipse!
It is also important to remember to wear the correct eye protection when viewing the eclipse! Lack of proper eye protection can cause damage to your eyes/vision! "Solar Eclipse Glasses" are currently being sold at many major retailers across the state!
