Friends of Jordon Hudson, 23, were shocked by her relationship with six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick, 72, after it was revealed last week.

“I didn’t even know she had a boyfriend — I heard from people she’s kind of all over the place with dating," a fellow 2020 Miss Massachusetts Teen USA pageant contestant told the New York Post.

“I’m so curious how this happened," the pageant contestant said. "He’s old enough to be her grandfather!

“She’s not shy — wanting the limelight is one thing but dating someone in his 70s is another. I didn’t realize she’d go as far to do that for fame.”

Hudson was the first runner up for Miss Maine 2024 and the third runner up for Miss Massachusetts Teen in 2020. Several other pageant contestants said the 23-year-old wasn't the typical girl who usually competes.

“She is not a pageant girl,” another competitor told the Post. “The rule for Miss USA is you can compete in two states per year. She competed for Maine and she was slated to compete for Alaska [but] she dropped out. I don’t know if it has to do with this news coming out."

“I was shocked – not so much by the age [difference] but I don’t know in what world Bill Belichick would be riding a commercial plane,” the source said, before speculating, “My guess would be they met on a dating app, maybe Raya, or an upscale dating app.”

Photos and video published by the Daily Mail on Wednesday (June 19) showed Belichick and Hudson, along with an unidentified male carrying several items, walking on a dock toward the former New England Patriots coach's boat in Nantucket. On Tuesday (June 18), TMZ Sports shared a photo of Belichick and Hudson's first encounter.

Belichick was seen smiling with Hudson in a selfie taken during the reported flight they shared from the Boston area to Florida in February 2021. The former New England Patriots coach also autographed a textbook for Hudson during their initial meeting, as shown in other photos obtained by TMZ Sports on Tuesday.

“Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!” Belichick wrote with his signature inside the 'Deductive Logic' textbook, along with the numbers for each of the Super Bowls won by the Patriots during his tenure with the franchise.

Belichick, who was spotted with Hudson in a photo shared on Croatian Chess Grandmaster Alojzije Jankovic earlier this month, has reportedly been linked with her since breaking up with longtime girlfriend, Linda Holliday, in September 2023, TMZ Sports reported on Friday (June 14). Hudson and Belichick reportedly bonded over a philosophy project she was working on and exchanged contact information after landing, a former cheerleading teammate confirmed to TMZ Sports.

Belichick, who was fired by the New England Patriots after 24 season in January, was spotted at a cheerleading competition, opting to forego the NFL Combine, in National Harbor, Maryland, in March, which he reportedly attended to watch Hudson compete. The 23-year-old also reportedly attended former quarterback Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction alongside the legendary coach this past week and attended several games at Gillette Stadium during Belichick's final two seasons in 2022 and 2023.

In March, the pseudonymous gossip outlet Deuxmoi reported that Belichick was spotted on what was described as "clearly a date" with a much younger brunette woman at Contessa Italiana in Boston. Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski also made multiple jokes about Belichick dating younger women both on the red carpet of Brady's Hall of Fame speech and at the quarterback's Netflix roast last month.

Belichick is the third-winningest coach in NFL history and one of seven NFL head coaches to have spent more than 20 years with one franchise following George Halas (40) of the Chicago Bears, Curly Lambeau (29) of the Green Bay Packers, Tom Landry (29) of the Dallas Cowboys, Don Shula (26) of the Miami Dolphins, Steven Owen (24) of the New York Giants and Chuck Noll of the Pittsburgh Steelers, all of whom have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
